Luxair, legally Luxair S.A., Société Luxembourgeoise de Navigation Aérienne, is the flag carrier airline of Luxembourg with its headquarters and homebase at Luxembourg Findel Airport in Sandweiler. It operates scheduled services to destinations in Europe, North Africa, the Mediterranean and Middle East with additional charter and seasonal services. It is Luxembourg’s only passenger-carrying airline. Luxair’s company slogan is ‘Fly in good company’. They have over 2000 employees and have made profit every year bar 2 in the last 8 years.

Salary and Benefits:
Captains year 1 is in excess of €7000 gross a month, but Luxair do not accept Direct Entry Captains so you would ‘bridge’ across the pay scales to your current year of service with Luxair up to a maximum of approx €15000 gross a month.
First Officers start on €2500 during training, €3600 during line training then approx €4500 after one year. All gross. Pay increases every year until you get promoted or reach the top of the pay scales.
Duty pay per day (both ranks): <6 hours = €17; 6-10 hours = €25; >10 hours €50.
Minimum 9 days off a month including a block of 4 days off together. Leave = 31 days per annum and staff travel benefits are available.
