Aer Lingus Cabin Crew
As cabin crew you can potentially earn between €1,900 and €2,000 monthly take home pay (inclusive of base and variable pay on a monthly average throughout a Summer season*).
Cabin crew training is provided at our in-house Training Academy, Iolar House, located in the heart of Dublin Airport. Throughout your training you will learn a wide range of topics from theoretical and practical components, health and safety procedures through to grooming and guest experience .Cabin Crew training at the Training Academy are paid a training salary, so you can earn as you train.
Essential criteria for application
- Over 18 years of age
- Eligible to live and work in the Republic of Ireland without restriction (i.e. EU Passport Holder or Non-EEA Citizen holding Stamp 4)
- 12 months combined experience in a face to face customer service/sales role
- Fluency in English, both spoken and written
- Hold a valid EEA passport allowing unrestricted worldwide travel
- No tattoos/piercing visible when in Aer Lingus uniform
- Flexibility to work shifts, unsociable hours, weekends, holidays and overnights
- You will need to provide a verifiable 5 year background check*
- You will need to provide details of 3 contactable referees
- You will be between 5‘2″- 6‘2″ tall, with weight-height in proportion and can reach up to 6‘3″
- Able to stand for long periods of time(at least 4 hours)
- Able to lift objects up to 18Kgs and pull a beverage cart of 100kgs
- Ability to arrive within 90 minutes from your base when on reserve duty
- You need to be prepared to spend time away from base overnight and time on call
- Able to swim 25m unaided and tread water for at least 1 minute
- Prepared to complete a medical questionnaire and medical examination
- To have visual acuity of 6/9 (aided or unaided)
- If successful you will need to attend a pre-selection training course of up to 5 weeks in Dublin which will be taking place in May 2018
Desirable criteria
- Ability to converse in a second European Language
- Previous cabin crew experience and holders of an EASA Attestation of Initial Safety Training issued after April 2014
*If you are a non Irish Citizen, you will need to be in possession of a current police disclosure certificate from your home country. If you have lived outside the Republic of Ireland for more than 6 months you will also be required to hold a current police disclosure certificate from that country/countries.

Next stages of the process

- Applicants who progress through the screening will receive short on-line assessments and video interview to complete, you will be given a number days to complete this. It is in your best interest to complete the assessments as soon as possible
- Shortlisted candidates will be invited to a final interview which will take place in Dublin in January 2019
- Successful candidates will be contacted shortly thereafter
- Training courses will commence in mid-March, April and May 2019
