Air Astana is based in the beautiful country of Kazakhstan with a home base at Almaty International Airport. The airline operates A320, EMB 190, B757 and B767 aircraft in one of the youngest fleets in the world.

Due to strong growth in the company, Air Astana is currently recruiting B757/B767 Captains. The airline is offering pilots a great working environment, work life balance and opportunity to develop.

Air Astana are offering B757-767 Captain positions.

Minimum requirements:

* Over 5500 hours total flying time
* 1500 PIC hours on commercial aircraft
* preferably 500 hours PIC on type
* valid JAA/FAA/ICAO ATPL in English
* valid class I medical certificate
* last flight on type ideally within 12 months
* last sim check with 12 months
* English ICAO Level 4 or higher
* age under 60

Salary:

Commuting contract:

€7,937 average earnings per month which is :
€6,800 basic monthly earnings + per diems at €50 per day on base
which is on average €1,137 per month on the 6 /2 roster

Non Commuting contract:

€8,635 average earnings per month which is :
€7,140 basic monthly earnings + per diems at €50 per day on base
which is on average €1,500 per month on the non commuting roster.

Benefits:

Contract completion Bonus:

€16,000 – on the 3 year contract

Accommodation & Ground transportation:

For the initial period of a max 30 days you will be provided with suitable hotel accommodation. Currently Air Astana uses the Holiday Inn, Almaty.
Thereafter, the airline will assist you with finding an apartment;
The airline provides accommodation and covers utility bills for the duration of the contract up to €500 per month. Alternatively accommodation allowance will be paid by the Airline at the agreed rate.
Please note that hotel accommodation at outstations/layovers will also be provided when on duty.
Air Astana will provide ground transportation to and from your hotel/apartment before and after duty.

Insurance:

You will be provided with Worldwide Personal Accident & Emergency Medical insurance by Direct Personnel free of charge. Within this policy we provide you with Loss of income assistance in case of an accident.

Travel:

Free Of Charge tickets on Air Astana network when on rotation as well as at the commencement and completion of contract

Free Of Charge tickets at commencement and at completion of contract to/from Air Astana network from/to your domicile

ID 90 Tickets for pilot and his / her family

ZED tickets on Airline’s partner network (incl. KLM, Turkish, Asiana, Etihad and Lufthansa)

€175 travel allowance: per each month of completed service on base (this allowance does not apply for the first and last month on contract)
