Airbus Blagnac is looking for Flight Operations expert pilot with TRI/TRE experience to join the Flight Operations Support and Training Standards department.
The main mission of the Airbus Flight Operations Support & Training Standards department is to define the flight operations standards as reflected in the Airbus flight operations manuals (procedures, techniques, limitations, systems descriptions, dispatch conditions…), to define the manufacturer minimum training requirements for the whole Airbus fleet and to support the operators accordingly.
You will contribute to the definition of these flight operations and training standards and to the relevant support to the operators
You will contribute to Operational Suitability Data (OSD) for Flight Crew Data (OSD-FCD)
You will contribute to support and provide flight operations or training services to Airlines
You will contribute in aircraft development activities

As Type Rated Examiner (TRE) and Type Rated Instructor (TRI), you will partly act for the Airbus Training Center to conduct training and checking according to your qualifications.

Tasks & accountabilities:

You will be responsible for the following activities:
• Defining Flight Operations manuals with Flight Operations Engineers (all aircraft programs)
• Defining minimum training requirements and supporting OSD development, including regulatory aspects
• Supporting Operators on these matters
• Contributing to in-service events safety analysis
• Contributing to support Airlines on Flight Data Analysis and SMS deployment
• Providing assistance and services to Operators with our Airbus subsidiary Navblue
• Contributing to aircraft systems (eg, new functions, new cockpit interfaces) or Flight Operations solutions (eg, EFB) development and evaluations
• Performing pilot simulator training and/or checking training according to your Airbus Qualifications, performing IOE, providing LIFUS

Required skills:

With a 5-year degree, you have at least 10 years of experience as pilot which have allowed you to acquire 8000 hours of total flight time, including Commercial jet experience (2000 hours as pilot).
You have experience in Airline Flight Operations Engineering, Safety management, training development and training regulations fields
You have a valid License ATPL(A)/EASA, as well as valid TRI/TRE qualification on an Airbus Fly By Wire.
You have English proficiency (level 5 minimum) on your license.
You totalize 1000 hours as Pilot in command on Airbus Fly By Wire Aircraft.
You have experience as TRI/TRE on Airbus Fly By Wire Aircraft.
You have experience in OPS : LVO and RVSM (mandatory) / ETOPS and MNPS (desirable)
You are recognised for your autonomy, your team spirit and your multitask approach.
You are available for some business trips worldwide
A negotiation level of English is required for this position.
