Bae Jetstream 31/32 Non Type Rated First Officers AIS Airlines Netherlands

AIS Airlines is a Dutch regional airline with its head office at Lelystad Airport in the Netherlands. Currently, AIS Airlines is operating routes in Europe with a fleet of 10 aircraft. Due to continuous growth AIS Airlines is hiring First Officers.

Short-listed candidates will be invited to attend an assessment at AIS Airlines head office.

Successful candidates will first need to complete an AIS Bridge Course. The aim of this course is to grade pilots up to the required level prior starting with the Type Rating Course Jetstream 31/32.

Minimum requirements:

  • EU-citizen and/or unrestricted and unlimited working permit for the Netherlands with valid passport without restriction
  • Valid EASA Part-FCL Frozen ATPL (ME-IR with MCC). Both integrated and modular pilots are welcome
  • Minimum LPE level 5 (already endorsed in the license)
  • Valid Part-MED Class 1 medical certificate
  • Valid driver’s license for cars
  • Able to pass a security background check

Further requirements:

  • Able to self-fund
    –       AIS Bridge Course: €5,000.-
    –       Type Rating Course Jetstream 31/32: €25,000.-

Candidates starting with the AIS Bridge Course and Type Rating Course are guaranteed of an employment-contract with AIS Airlines as a First Officer for at least one year.

CAPTAINS BAe Jetstream 31/32 (M/F)

Skills required:

–      Above average flying abilities;

–      Highly motivated;

–      Flexible and balanced team player personality;

–      Above standard professional leadership qualities to perform as accepted leader;

–      Fluent in (aviation) English language;

–      Dutch language desirable.

Qualification required:

–      Valid Part-FCL ATPL(A) or Part-FCL CPL(A) with ATPL theory + MCC certificate and all experience requirements for the issuance of a full ATPL;

–      Minimum LPE level 5 (already endorsed in the license);

–      Valid ME-IR rating;

–      Valid Part-MED Class 1 medical certificate;

–      EU-citizen and/or unrestricted and unlimited working permit for The Netherlands with valid passport without restriction;

–      Valid driver’s license for cars;

–      Valid security background check;

–      University degree desirable.

Flight Experience required:

–      Minimum of 2000 hours total time;

–      Minimum of 1000 hours turboprop experience;

–      Minimum of 250 hours PIC (of which maximum 150 hours PICUS).

Contract Type:

Time limited contract with bond for one year. A non-type-rated captain will be trained by the Company free of charge. In return the captain signs a contract for at least one year.

Home base:

Amsterdam (AMS) for pilots living in The Netherlands. For pilots living in Europe; scheduling of duties are such that commuting might be possible. Other home bases might be considered.

Payment:

–      € 3500,- / calendar month

–      8% vacation bonus

–      € 25,- per diem

–      Normal, work related costs (travel, training, licensing etc.)
