Brussels Airlines are recruiting A340 Rated First Officers and Captains for their base in Dusseldorf, Germany. The airline is to operate 2 x Lufthansa A340 on behalf of Eurowings. The aircraft will be painted in Eurowings livery.

Required qualifications First Officer:

  • EASA ATPL (A) or CPL (A) / IR (A) with frozen ATPL (A)
  • A340 type rating (A330 will be accepted)
  • medical class I
  • EU/EFTA nationality
  • Unrestricted passport
  • good English language skills (ICAO-language proficiency level 4 as a minimum), German knowledge is an advantage
  • clean criminal record / valid background check
  • medical fitness for travel in the tropics before start of line training

Required flight experience First Officer:

  • Min. 500 hrs on type A340/330
  • Min. 2000 hrs total time
  • Must be current on type and last flight within 12 Month
 Required qualifications Captains:
  • EASA ATPL (A)
  • A340 type rating (A330 will be accepted)
  • medical class I
  • EU/EFTA nationality
  • Unrestricted passport
  • good English language skills (ICAO-language proficiency level 4 as a minimum), German knowledge is an advantage
  • clean criminal record / valid background check
  • medical fitness and vaccination for travel in the tropics before start of line training

Required flight experience Captains:

  • Min. 1000 hrs PIC on type A330/340
  • Min. 5000 hrs total time
  • Active line duty as captain A340/330 within the last 12 months
