First Officers:

 

Job Purpose

Qualifications & Experience
To join as a First Officer on our B777 and A380 fleets, you will need the following experience:
– Minimum of 2000 hours flying multi-engine, multi-crew, turboprop and/or jet aircraft with a MTOW ≥ 20T OR
– Minimum of 3000 hours flying multi-engine, multi-crew, turboprop and/or jet aircraft with a MTOW between 10T & 20T; simulator time cannot be accepted
– Flown at least 150 hours within the last 12 months on an aircraft with MTOW ≥ 10T (reduced hours may be considered)
– A valid ICAO ATPL (or USA equivalent) with its associated class 1 medical certificate*
– ICAO English Level 4 or above
* Pilots with Frozen ATPL (CPL + ATPL Theory exams completed) can be invited for the selection on the provision that they obtain a full ATPL prior to joining if successful.

Accelerated Command Positions:

 

Job Purpose
If you are a motivated Captain who would like the opportunity to fly a modern wide body aircraft worldwide, we would like you to register your interest for future opportunities. If you meet the requirements for this position, you will join Emirates as a First Officer on an enhanced salary package. You will need to operate in the right hand seat for a min of 700 hours and complete 2 PPCs to then be eligible for our command assessment and upgrade course.
Qualifications & Experience
To join us on our accelerated command program, you will need the following experience:
– Minimum of 7000 hours on multi-crew, multi-engine aircraft in the operating seat of a turboprop and/or turbojet aircraft; simulator time cannot be accepted (reduced hours may be considered)
– Minimum of 3000 hours in command on multi-crew, multi-engine commercial jet aircraft with MTOW of 50 tonnes or more
– Currently operating as a commander on an aircraft such as B737, A320 or larger
– Wide-body time is not required
– Valid ICAO ATPL with unrestricted Class 1 Medical issued by same authority
– English Language Fluency at ICAO English Level 5 or above
– Flown at least 150 hours in the last 12 months on an aircraft with MTOW over 50 tonnes (reduced hours may be considered)

Direct Entry Captains:

Qualifications & Experience
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS for Direct Entry Captains Airbus 380
To become one of our A380 Captains, you will need the following experience:
– Minimum of 7000 hrs total flying time – only time in the operating seat of a turboprop and/or turbojet aircraft can be counted; simulator time cannot be accepted
– Minimum of 3000 hrs command time on multi-crew, multi-engine commercial jet aircraft with MTOW of 50 tonnes or more (reduced hours may be considered)
– A valid ICAO ATPL with an unrestricted class one medical certificate
– Fluency in written and spoken English, equivalent to ICAO English level 5 or above
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS for Direct Entry Captains Boeing 777
To become one of our B777 Captains, you will need the following experience:
– Minimum of 7000 hrs total flying time – only time in the operating seat of a turboprop and/or turbojet aircraft can be counted; simulator time cannot be accepted
– Minimum of 3000 hrs command time on multi-crew, multi-engine commercial jet aircraft with MTOW of 50 tonnes or more
– Most recent 1000 hours to be command on Boeing wide-body, long-haul (B767/747/777/787) within the past 3 years. – Flown at least 150 hrs in command within the last 12 months (reduced hours may be considered)
– A valid ICAO ATPL with an unrestricted class one medical certificate
– Fluency in written and spoken English, equivalent to ICAO English level 5 or above
