IROISE AERO FORMATION is a growing ATO located in Brittany (Brest, LFRB). In order to train an increasing number of students, it seeks more instructors. As it has been decided that English will become the only acceptable language for both technical call-outs and ATC communications, IAF is hoping to attract instructors whose mother tongue is English.
We need:
Commercial Pilot Instructors (SEP and MEP) Instrument Rating Flight Instructors (SEP and MEP) Synthetic Training Instructors
To provide flight, simulator and ground instruction in accordance with IROISE AERO FORMATION Training Manuals for the Modular CPL/IR flight training course.
Preference will be given to experienced pilots (airline, air taxi) willing to devote their time to transferring their experience to the young generation.
Core duties will involve, but not limited to:
- Uphold flight safety in every aspect of training and encourage a ‘just culture’ amongst colleagues and trainees
- Conduct each training event in accordance with the approved syllabus, and in compliance with the ATO published schedule/programme
- Ensure each cadet is properly briefed and prepared for each training event and conduct a debrief after completion of the event
- Complete cadet reports promptly after every training event
- Monitor every assigned cadet’s progress and report any training performance
problems to the CFI or designated representative
- Foster professionalism amongst all cadets
- Ensure the ATO’s standards are promoted and maintained throughout training
- Monitor the maintenance condition of the training fleet and report any defects to
operations as soon as possible
- Observe the highest standard of professionalism in every aspect of this role
- Maintain personal license and rating validities
- Retain a valid Class 1 medical. Inform the DHT/CFI promptly if loss of medical occurs
- Comply with all rules and procedures detailed in the ATO Operations Manual
- Attend administration, standardization and periodic/annual training as required by the
CFI
- Conduct any other reasonable duties which may, from time to time, be given by the
Head of Training (HT), CFI or DCFI
Qualifications requirements:
- EASA CPL/IR(A) or ATPL(A) with Flight Instructor Rating
- Class 1 Medical (for flight instructors only)
In house training can be given if required. Former instructors who lost their medical may be trained by IAF as Synthetic Flight Instructors.
Applications will only be accepted from individuals who possess the eligibility to live and work within the EEA.
Contract Type:
• Self employed or under contract. Any form will be accepted as long as it complies with the applicable regulations.
