SaudiGulf Airlines was established in 2013 by Abdel Hadi Abdullah Al-Qahtani & Sons Group of Companies, a Saudi consortium of privately owned businesses. The airline received its air operator’s certificate on 22 June 2016.
It launched operations on 29 October 2016 with twice daily flights between Dammam and Riyadh.
Minimum Requirements First Officers:
- Valid and current ICAO ATPL or GACA CPL with Multi Engine & Instrument Ratings.
- Valid First Class Medical Certificate issued by GACA or an ICAO member state.
- Flight Time: 1,000 hours Air Carrier or Transport Jet Hours as pilot.
- Minimum: 250 Air Carrier or Transport Jet Hours on the type (A320), or 500 Air Carrier or Transport Jet Hours on an aircraft having a maximum certified take-off weight greater than 25,000 kg and equivalent validation within 12 months.
- At least Level 4 ELP.
- Age of 55 or less on the day of joining.
- Passes the pre-employment background check, medical examinations & tests
Minimum Requirements Captains:
- Valid & current Airline Transport Pilot License issued by GACA or an ICAO member state.
- Valid First Class Medical Certificate issued by GACA or an ICAO member state.
- Total Flight Time: 5,000 hours Air Carrier or Transport Jet Hours as Pilot.
- PIC Time: 1,000 hours on type (A320) & type rating validation within 12 months, or 2,000 hours Air Carrier or Transport Jet Hours on aircraft having a maximum certified take-off weight greater than 25,000 kg, type rating on type hired for and type rating validation within 12 months, or 2,000 hours Air Carrier or Transport Jet Hours on aircraft having a maximum certified take-off weight greater than 70,000 kg and equivalent type rating validation within 12 months.
- At least Level 4 ELP.
- Age of 60 or less on the day of joining.
- Passes the pre-employment background check, medical examinations & tests.
