As a First Officer, you will:

    • Operate in accordance with approved company standards and manuals
    • Set a high standard for providing our guests safe and reliable travel
    • Handle a wide variety of situations while working with other team members and our guests
    • Work independently and as part of a team with limited supervision
    • Ensure the safety and comfort of our guests
    • Work in climates and locations across the globe and work variable shifts
    • Assist the wider Aero team with work as required during low flight activity

Additionally, you will:

    • Be accountable and responsible for reading and following all safety notices issued within Centrik, our Safety Management tool
    • Be responsible for safety & hazard reporting within Centrik or via the Safety Director/HR if more appropriate
    • Supporting a just and positive safety culture through:-
    • adherence to company safety policies and procedures
    • attendance to all required safety and compliance training
    • adherence to all safety reporting requirements- attendance to all safety and compliance meetings

Here is what it takes to be a successful pilot at Aero:

    • Excellent communication skills and quick and accurate decision making
    • Close attention to detail
    • Ability to work varying hours of the day or night, on weekends and holidays
    • Must be able to provide last 5 years’ employment history for background checks and secure an airport authority ID.
    • Fulfillment of UK or EU criminal background checks (CRB)
    • Ability to learn and work with PEDs
    • Minimum current UK CPL/IR (frozen ATPL) (UK CAA ATPL)
    • Valid EMB 135/145 Type Rating
    • Hold a Multi-Crew Cooperation Certificate (MCC) or exemption
    • Valid Class One Medical Certificate with a minimum of three months’ validity
    • Must have a  Minimum ICAO level 4 English
    • Must be readily available when on standby and within 90 minutes commuting distance of base
    • Must have the right to live and work in the UK
    • To be considered for the First Officer role, the candidate must have flown the EMB 135/145 within the last 12 months – Total flight time 1000+ hours, 250+ hours on EMB 135/145, total multi pilot jet 250+ hours
