Air Astana continue their recruitment campaign for Captains and First Officers for their base in Almaty in Kazakhstan. Air Astana will take rated pilots on either the B767, E190, A320 or non-rated applicants. They will also consider low-hour qualified ATPL holders. Info direct from Air Astana. 

Commander qualified on type – B767, E190, A320

Requirements:

• Current and valid ICAO ATPL with Type- Rating
• Minimum flight hours: 4500
• Minimum hours as Commander: 1000
• Minimum of 500 hours on type as a Commander
• Class 1 Medical
• ICAO English level 4
• Maximum age 62 years
• Have flown the type within the last twelve (12) months and have a current LPC. Applicants who do not meet the 12 month recency requirement, but have flown the type within the last 36 months, may be considered taking in to account their overall experience and professional background

Commander not qualified on type 

Requirements:

• Current and valid ICAO ATPL
• Minimum flight hours: 4500
• Minimum hours as Commander: 1200
• Class 1 Medical
• ICAO English level 4
• Maximum age 55 years.
• Have flown a multi pilot aircraft within the last six (6) months. PC. Applicants, who do not meet this requirement, may be considered, taking in to account their overall experience and professional background

First Officer Qualified on Type – B767, E190, A320

Requirements:

• Current and valid ICAO ATPL with Type-Rating.
• Minimum flight hours 1500.
• Minimum 500 hours on type.
• Class 1 medical.
• ICAO English level 4.
• Maximum age 45 years.
• Have flown the type within the last twelve (12) months and have a current LPC. Applicants who do not meet the 12 month recency requirement, but have flown the type within the last 36 months, may be considered taking in to account their overall experience and professional background.

First Officer Not Qualified on Type

Requirements:

ICAO CPL with ATPL theory credit.
Minimum flight hours 400.
Minimum 200 hours on Multi-engine, Multi-Crew aeroplanes.
Class 1 medical.
ICAO English level 4.
Maximum age 45 years.
Have flown a Multi-engine, Multi-Crew aeroplane within the last six(6) months. Applicants who do not meet this requirement, may be considered taking in to account their overall experience and professional background. 

First Officer Not Qualified on Type with a Low Time 

Requirements:

• ICAO CPL with ATPL theory credit.
• Minimum flight hours 200.
• Valid Multi engine and Instrument rating.
• MCC certificate (preferably)
• Class 1 medical.
• ICAO English level 4.
• Minimum age 19 years.
• Maximum age 34 years.
