Air India are seeking candidates with a B777 or B737 rating for their B777 fleet based in Mumbai or Delhi in India.

B777 Rated First Officers
Requirement
B-777 Type Rated Pilots with high level of competence.
Inviting applications from B777 Type Rates Pilots with high level of competence on a fixed terms contract of 03 years and further extendable.
Eligibility
- Indian Nationals or Overseas citizens of India
- Age upto 63 Years.
Contract Period
- To be hired on a 03 year contract (renewable) or 65 years of age whichever is earlier.
Technical/Licence Qualifications
- Should be an Indian License holder.
- Minimum experience on B-777 aircraft: 500 Hours
- Valid DGCA ATPL (B777 rating) & FRTOL for Commander and Valid DGCA ATPL/ CPL (B777 rating) & FRTOL for Co-Pilots
- Valid DGCA Class I Medical
- Valid Instrument Rating on Indian CPL/ATPL
- ICAO Aviation English Language Proficiency Four or Above
- Incident free/accident-free certificate for the past 5 years.
- Should have flown B-777 aircraft in the last 30 months OR should have completed gap in flying training upto IR/PPC on FFS, as per DGCA regulations.
- Current RTR (A) or RTR (P) or RTR(C) issued by WPC, Ministry of Communication, India
- Valid passport
- Mandatory eGCA-ID with all licences and documents validated.
REMUNERATION:
- As per Industry standard.
- Loss of License and Accident Compensation: entitlement as per company policy.
- Group Family Medical Insurance: entitlement as per company policy.
- Passages: entitlement as per company policy.
Please Note:
- All above Technical / License qualifications shall also be required to be current at the time of joining.
- The selected candidates shall be in possession of a Police Verification Certificate (Character Certificate) obtained in the preceding three months from the date of joining.
- Candidates, currently employed, must produce a ‘No Objection Certificate’ from their current Employer, at the time of joining
NOTE:
– For candidates not having B-777 rating current on DGCA ATPL, Air India will issue them with a letter of intent advising them to complete their gap in flying training upto IR/PPC on B777 FFS, as per DGCA regulations, at their own cost & expense.
– They would have to get the same completed within the stipulated time.
– On joining Air India, the cost of the gap in flying training upto IR/PPC would be reimbursed as per Company Policy.
B737 Rated First Officers
Same as above except:
Minimum Academic Qualification
- 10+2 with Physics & Maths from a recognized Board/University
Technical/Licence Qualifications
- Valid B737NG/MAX Endorsement on Indian CPL/ATPL with minimum 500 hours on type at the time of application
- Current Instrument rating on B737NG/MAX aircraft endorsed on Indian CPL/ATPL
NOTE:
– Air India will issue a Letter of Intent to the candidates selected in this recruitment drive advising them to get their B777 type rating at their own cost & expense.
– On joining Air India, the cost of the type rating would be reimbursed as per Company Policy.
The candidates who qualify the interview will be required to appear for the Simulator Proficiency Assessment Check (SPAC) on B777.
Selection Process:
The candidates who qualify the interview will be required to appear for the Simulator Proficiency Assessment Check (SPAC) on B777 simulator.
(Pilots from other TATA Companies are not eligible to apply)
