Air Tanker are recruiting non-rated First Officers and First Officers rated on either the A320 or A330 to operate their A330 aircraft. The position is for a Manchester (UK) base. The following information has been taken from the Air Tanker careers website.

First Officer (non-rated)

Applications are invited from FOs who are UK licence holders, Type-Rated on an aircraft >10t MTOW (with a minimum of 500hrs and 200 sectors) and who hold a UK CAA Class 1 Medical Certificate, for three-year FTC positions based at MAN.  A full A330 Type Rating will be provided by ATr and a three year Training Bond will be entered into by successful candidates.
(Applicants not meeting these criteria will not be considered)

First Officer (A330 or A320 rated)

Applications are invited from Captains and FOs who are UK licence holders, qualified on the A330 (or A320 qualified and in possession of a current and valid A320 rating, with at least 500hrs on type) and who hold a UK CAA Class 1 Medical Certificate, for permanent FO positions based at MAN.
(Applicants not meeting these criteria will not be considered)

The Individual:


•           (F)ATPL
•           JOC/MCC completed
•           Sociable and ‘well-rounded’ personality – able to integrate into a small community
•           Balanced
•           Ability to work as part of a team
•           Willing to re-base to Manchester

Additional Information

Due to the nature of the organisation, all employees of AirTanker Services are required to be security cleared to SC level. If successful in your application, we would support you with the SC process. As a guideline only, you would normally need to have been a UK resident for the last 5 consecutive years.  Further confirmation can be found on the National Security Vetting (NSV) website https://www.gov.uk/security-vetting-and-clearance
