Description:

Airtask Group operate the BAe 146-301 Atmospheric Research Aircraft (ARA) on behalf of the Facility for Airborne Atmospheric Measurements (FAAM) and are currently recruiting a Captain for this absorbing and complex operation.

The position is based at Cranfield, Bedfordshire, with detachments worldwide pursuing a programme of varied meteorological and fundamental atmospheric research using one of the most capable such platforms in the world.

Requirements:

It is essential that prospective candidates have the following qualifications and experience:

  •   Right to work in the UK
  •   UK Part FCL ATPL with current BAe 146/RJ Type Rating
  •   Minimum of 3500 hours TT
  •   Military Low-level training and experience to an operational level  Formation experience
  •   Commercial experience
  •    Desire and ability to work with science customers in order to facilitate research campaigns

    The following are highly desirable though not essential:

    ●  Test / Trials background

    ●  TRE Qualification

    Candidates should possess excellent inter-personal skills and be team orientated with a strong work ethic.
