Blue Islands provides year-round, sustainable air connectivity to and from the Channel Islands. Our ATR72 fleet operates 900 flights per month, between the Channel Islands, UK and Europe from our bases in Jersey and Guernsey.

  • We operate 900 flights per month to and from Channel Islands on all ATR fleet
  • Scheduled flights across regional network
  • Plus ad-hoc and series charter flights throughout UK and Europe for tour operators and top-flight sport teams

WHAT WE OFFER:

First Officers:

We seek ATR First Officers who understand our purpose and want to join us on our journey. If you’re looking for a change of lifestyle (including a balanced roster, ensuring you’re home every night) then being part of our small friendly team in the island of Jersey could be perfect for you.

Minimum requirements First Officers:

  • Valid FCL ATPL(A) or ‘Frozen’ ATPL(A)
  • Minimum of 250 hours total flying hours, to include 50 hours multi-engine time
  • Successful completion of an approved MCC Course.

You must be able to provide references to pass a five year background and criminal record check, plus you must have the right to live and work in the UK.

Preferences will be given to applicants who are type rated for ATR aircraft, but training will be provided to suitable candidates.


Captains:

We are searching for direct entry ATR captains who understand our purpose and want to join us on our journey. If you’re looking for a change of lifestyle (including a balanced roster, ensuring you’re home every night) then being part of our small friendly team in the island of Jersey could be perfect for you.

You will need a valid FCL ATPL(A). Preferences will be given to ATR type rated applicants, although training will be provided to suitable candidates.

  • A valid UK CAA ATPL(A).
  • British passport holder or right to live and work in the UK
  • to provide references to pass a five year background and criminal record check, plus you must have the right to live and work in the UK.
