JOB DESCRIPTION:

FlyaSpitfire.com and Planerides.co.uk are seeking applications for Freelance Commercial Pilots to fly PA32R Saratoga, A to A, day VFR flights, primarily Biggin Hill based with operating from various Airfields in the UK through the year. The aircraft operates both sightseeing and Formation Passenger flight experiences with Warbird aircraft.

The position is for the main flying season between the March 2025 to November 2025, Training to commence January/February 2025. For suitable applicant there is possibility of a full-time position and earlier start date.

The nature of the operation requires flexible hours including most weekends. The selected candidate(s) will be joining on a self-employed basis.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

UK Part-FCL CPL(A) (No IR Required) with a valid SEP Class Rating and Class 1 medical (single pilot).

Full training will be provided to successful applicants; VP, retractable, turbocharger, Formation experience is preferred but not essential.

Aircraft are operated on a UK AOC. Pilots must be able to comply with company FDP/FTL scheme.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Applicants will need to be self-disciplined and enthusiastic about general aviation, as well as being resourceful. The position is customer facing with a focus on actively upselling flights to visitors so applicants will need to be confident communicators. Sales experience would be an advantage.

In addition to the flying requirements, Pilots will be required to complete all administration in accordance with company Standard Operating Proceduress and regulations as well as assisting with daily operational requirements.
