Edelweiss Air part of the Lufthansa group are currently recruiting A320 & A340 Rated Direct Entry Captains for their base in Zurich, Switzerland onto their A320 & A340 fleets.

Edelweiss Air A320 Captains

 

Requirements:

 

  • ATPL License (EASA Part-FCL) with Airbus Type Rating A320 valid on course commencement
  • 5000 hours of which 1500 on Airbus wide body aircraft and 1000 minimum command time CAT Jet aircraft of MTOW >45 tonnes. Experience in long distance operations.
  • Medical class 1 and covid19 vaccinated with evidence
  • Completely documented proof of performance
  • Very good language skills in German (at least level C1) and good conversational skills in English (level B2 / ICAO level 4)
  • Excellent leadership and team skills, impeccable reputation, integrity, mature and loyal personality
  • Swiss citizen or citizen of the EU-27/EFTA states

Tasks:

 

  • You will take overall responsibility for a safe and efficient flight in accordance with Edelweiss procedures operational philosophy
  • Flight preparation and execution according to legal regulations
  • You lead and promote your crew and ensure a high standard of performance at all times
  • Promote high quality standards for all our customers

Edelweiss Air A340 Captains

 

Requirements:

 

  • ATPL License (EASA Part-FCL) with Airbus Type Rating A340 valid on course commencement
  • 5000 hours of which 1500 on Airbus wide body aircraft and 1500 minimum command time on Airbus wide body aircraft with experience in long distance operation
  • Medical class 1
