AIRBUS CAPTAIN

We are looking for highly motivated, safety driven, self-disciplined candidates who are passionate about flying and are team and service oriented.

Reporting to the Airbus Fleet Manager, this role is responsible for carrying our duties required under approved company standards and practices and assists in the safe and efficient conduct of the flight.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Ensures the flight is conducted safely and efficiency.
  • Operate in compliance with the relevant legislation and the requirements detailed in the Fiji Airways manual suite.
  • Display exemplary leadership and teamwork.

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE

  • Hold a Fiji ATPL licence and instrument rating or acceptable equivalent.
  • Minimum of 5000 allowable flight hours.
  • 3000 hours on Airbus type aircraft.
  • Minimum 2000 hours on Airbus widebody aircraft
  • Rated or previously held an A330 type rating.  (Dual A330/A350 qualification an advantage).
  • Must be a Fiji citizen, holding a current Fiji Passport for at least 5 years.
