The team at Flybe Ltd are delighted to be recruiting for a combined Ground Training Officer and Crew Resource Management Trainer position to be based at Birmingham Airport.
The Flight Operations training team are recruiting in preparation to welcome the new joiners to Flybe Ltd. We are looking for experienced Dash 8 – 400 Captain’s or First Officer’s who would like to join the team as a combined GTO/CRMT and embark on this exciting journey based in Birmingham.
If you are dynamic, have a passion for training, a professional hardworking attitude, dedication and are highly motivated we would like to hear from you. As a GTO/CRMT you will be expected to be a leader and a role model within Flybe Ltd, who can facilitate training to a high standard.
You will be required to keep up to date with industry regulation and best practice, while maintaining a positive outlook and continuously contributing to the needs of the business in a collaborative manner.

Essential Qualifications, Training and Skills
- Valid UK CAA or UK issued EASA CPL or ATPL licence.
- Hold or have previously held a Dash 8-400 type rating.
- Demonstrates good technical knowledge of the Dash 8 – 400.
- Previous experience of delivering technical and/or CRM instruction.
- Previous experience of creating lesson plans and coursework.
- Excellent communication, presentation and facilitation skills.
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
- Able to demonstrate working autonomously and successfully, remaining calm under pressure.
- Attention to detail, quality and problem solving.
- Demonstrates flexibility, versatility, pro-active and being dynamic in previous roles.
- Demonstrates commitment to continued professional development.
- Adaptive and creative.
- ICAO English Level 5 or above.
- Unrestricted right to live and work in the UK and hold a valid passport with a minimum of nine months validity or
- more at date of joining.
- Provide a complete five-year referencing history and clean DBS check to hold an airside pass.
- Possess a full, valid driving licence.
- Live within 60 minutes travelling distance from base airport.
