Freebird Airlines, one of the leading charter airlines established in 2000 with its charter flights to and from Turkey on a solid infrastructure, is currently seeking applications for the position of First Officer.

First Officers:

We are looking for non-type rated First Officers, who are willing to be based in Antalya and meet the qualification, experience, and requirements below.

Requirements

  • Valid CPL/ATPL(A) license issued in accordance with EASA-FCL or ICAO standards (accepted by the Turkish DGCA),
  • Valid Class 1 medical certificate issued in accordance with EASA-MED or ICAO standards (accepted by the Turkish DGCA),
  • Minimum ICAO level 4 English proficiency,
  • Min age of 21, max age of 30 for non-experienced first officers, max age of 40 for experienced but non-A320 type rated first officers,
  • No administrative penalty from any Civil Aviation Authority and not being involved in any incident or accident related to aviation,
  • No criminal record or criminal archive record,
  • Bachelor’s degree from a 4-year university, preferably from an engineering faculty, aviation studies or a study with physics and mathematics in the academic curriculum,
  • Military service completed or deferred for at least 2 years.
  • For rated candidates it is expected you would have 500 hours on type.

 Important Note

We, as Freebird Airlines, do not require non-type-rated candidates to fund their type-rating training. We enroll candidates directly into the First Officer salary scheme as of the employment date and deduct a certain amount of the training cost from the candidate’s salary for a period of two years.

Direct Entry Captains:

We are looking for Commanders, preferably type rated on the A320, who are willing to be based in Antalya. Commanders not-type rated on the A320 type are welcome to apply, provided they meet the qualification and experience requirements below.

Requirements

  • Valid ATPL(A) license issued in accordance with EASA-FCL or ICAO Standards (accepted by the Turkish DGCA),
  • Valid Class 1 medical certificate issued in accordance with EASA-MED or ICAO Standards accepted by the Turkish DGCA,
  • Minimum PIC Experience: 500 hours if type rated on the A320 family type or 1000 hours on comparable category of aircraft or higher,
  • Minimum 5000 flight hours total experience on aircraft MTOW ≥ 27.000 kg,
  • Minimum 3 years of experience as an airline pilot,
  • Min age of 28 and max age of 62,
  • No administrative penalty from any Civil Aviation Authority and not being involved in any incident or accident related to aviation,
  • Minimum ICAO level 4 English proficiency,
  • No criminal record or criminal archive record,
  • Military service completed.
