The company have now announced they are seeking to employ a Chief Pilot to build their aerial survey capabilities. The Chief Pilot will support mission planning, crew mobilisation, airspace coordination and safe operations of the company’s DA42 MPP aircraft, which is equipped with highly advanced avionics (G1000) and digital camera systems. ​

Key duties and responsibilities​

  • Responsible for the efficient and safe operation of company aircraft​
  • Responsible for ensuring compliance with EASA Part-SPO regulations​
  • Conduct flights in compliance with EASA Part-SPO regulations, aircraft limitations and company operating procedures​
  • Effectively work with sensor operators to safely and efficiently complete assigned missions​
  • Assists as necessary in the responsibilities for aircraft upkeep, scheduling, maintenance, safety management and fuelling operations as required​
  • Keep accurate and detailed records to maintain compliance with EASA regulations​

Essential​

  • EASA Commercial Pilot Licence (CPL) with instrument rating (IR) on multi engine (ME) aircraft and Medical Class 1​
  • Minimum Experience of 500 hours ME​
  • Aerial Survey experience ​
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule, including deployments with minimal notice when available weather windows are forecast​
