What You’ll Do

As a First Officer, you’ll play a vital role in ensuring safe, efficient and customer-focused operations alongside our Captains. You’ll be part of a close-knit, high-performing crew and be supported every step of the way in your ongoing development.

Your responsibilities will be:

  • Assisting the Captain with flight planning, performance calculations and all phases of flight
  • Conducting pre-flight inspections and completing aircraft documentation
  • Operating the aircraft in full compliance with SOPs, regulations and safety policies
  • Monitoring weather, communicating with ATC and adjusting flight plans as needed
  • Maintaining accurate records of flights, duty hours and aircraft discrepancies
  • Participating in emergency procedures when required and assisting with passenger care
  • Delivering exceptional customer service and representing Loganair with professionalism
  • Taking part in regular training to maintain and build on your qualifications

What you’ll bring:

Essential Requirements:

  • Previous Twin Otter operating experience
  • Valid UK CAA CPL with MEIR, A-UPRT & MCC
  • Valid UK CAA Class 1 Medical
  • Eligible to live and work in the UK
  • English language proficiency (ICAO Level 4 or higher)
  • Valid passport with unrestricted worldwide travel

Desirable:

  • Previous customer service experience
  • Valid Class Rating for a DHC-6 Twin Otter

  • Basic Salary: £39,843-£43,566
  • Sector Pay: £5,500 – £8,000 per year (increases with number of sectors)
