Norse are seeking a Flight Training Manager to take charge of standards. The role is 50% office based and 50% flying. You must be a B787 TRI/TRE. The location is flexible – any Norse base. Info direct from Norse Atlantic Airways.

Manager Flight Training Standards EU is an integral part of the Crew Training Department. This is an important position in the Crew Training Department and will be integral to developing the team’s capabilities.
Joining Norse at this early phase means you will be heavily involved in the shaping of the Company’s operational capabilities. As Norse grows and evolves, you can expect to have the opportunity to get involved in different tasks, including more responsibility and promotion opportunities, within the Crew Training Departments Team.
This position will be a 50 % flying position.
The position will report to the NP Crew Training NO & NP Crew Training UK.
Responsibilities and Duties
- Organize monthly standard meetings
- Ensures training and checking in accordance with company manuals,
- Works in close contact with Base Chief Pilots and CFI’s across AOC’s
- Ensures training standards external providers,
- Oversight implementation of EBT
- Control, upkeep, and periodic review Training Procedure Manual
- Reviewing procedures in OM manuals and liaison with flight OPS
- Control, upkeep, and periodic review Training facilities
- Assist NPCT in cost control of training recourses
- Contact point for Instructors and Examiners
- Development of all training courses
- Control of consolidated list of TRE, TRI, LTC
- Control, upkeep and periodic review of all relevant training documents, media, lesson plans associated with the conduct of pilot training
- Ensure all relevant pilot training programs comply with Company procedures and processes
- Maintenance of professional requirements, management, professional development, and periodic review of relevant trainers
- Liaison with TKI’s to comply with required training content
Skills and Experience
- 787 TRI/TRE
- Previous training management experience is a plus
- Strong leadership skills
- Good communication skills
- Flexible and able to work with different departments, connecting Flight Ops and Training department
- Previous training management experience is a plus
- Good knowledge of EASA regulations
- Good communication skills
- Flexible and able to lead the instructor pilots
