Description:

The centre will deploy the first Bombardier Global 7500 full-flight simulator (FFS) in Europe, making pilot training on this popular aircraft type more accessible and convenient for operators in the region.

We are looking for Full Time, Permanent Instructors (SFI’s and GSI’s) to be based on the Global 7500, Global 6000 Vision and Phenom. The new 8,000-square-metre, state of the art facility will have space for expansion with a capacity for up to nine FFSs and will be purpose-built to deliver the most advanced pilot training experience in Central Europe. We will initially operate six state-of the-art FFSs in Vienna with additional simulators to be announced.

Role Expectations

We are in search for Flight and Ground   Instructors that are ready to take their existing experience as an aviation professional and transform their skills and knowledge into a world-class Synthetic Flight Instructor (SFI) and subject matter expert.   In the SFI role, you will have the opportunity to lead clients through their training – all with the added benefit of spending less time away from home.

SFI’s will work alongside our client partners, providing expert Synthetic Flight instruction. In addition, some classroom-based instruction will be required, and you will be responsible for the upkeep of accurate and concise trainee records. You will also get to work with top of the range equipment and the very latest aircraft technologies.


Ideal Professional Pilot Profile

  • Synthetic Flight Instructors and Ground School Instructors
  • High-performance aircraft and instructional experience
  • Skilled in mentoring and developing industry colleagues

 Qualifications 

  • Held an EASA or ICAO equivalent licence.
  • 1500 hours or more total multi-pilot time (please also add if you have 500hrs or more SP hours)
  • Previous instructional experience – CFI, SFI or SFE
  • Must read, speak, and converse in English at a high level
  • A keen eye for detail in training delivery – you must be willing to maintain accurate and timely records in accordance with CAE policy and requirements
  • Ability to tailor training sessions to the needs of a diverse customer base
  • Basic computer proficiency – Microsoft Office and other internet-based programs
  • Flexibility to commit to a full-time work pattern
  • Must live in commutable distance to the Training Centre in Schwechart
  • The right to live and work in Austria is desirable
  • Prepared to spend a period of time outside of Austria to undertake initial type and SFI ratings

Location
