Cathay Pacific Direct Entry First Officers

Cathay Pacific is recruiting Direct Entry First Officers for permanent Hong Kong-based positions.

Minimum requirements

• ICAO ATPL, or CPL with MEIR and ATPL examination credits from the same state, gained without exemption or conversion.
• Current Class 1 medical and ICAO English Level 4 or higher.
• 1,500 total flight hours (3,000 preferred), including 500 P1 hours; no more than 250 may be P1 under supervision.

Applicants must also meet one of these experience routes:

• Route A: 500 hours on civil multi-crew aircraft with MTOW above 45,000 kg.
• Route B: 1,500 hours on civil aircraft certified for multi-crew operations with MTOW above 10,000 kg, or certified and configured for over 19 passengers. Within the previous five years: either 500 hours (including 250 P1 and/or P1 under supervision), or 100 sectors.

Selection and fleet

Medical assessment (including HKCAD Class 1), background/criminal-record checks and drug screening apply. Fleet allocation may include A321neo, A330, A350, B777 or B747.
