China Southern Non-Rated and B777, B787, A330 Rated Captains

Based in Guangzhou, China Southern Airlines operates the largest fleet in Asia. Globally, China Southern is the 4th largest airline in the world by passengers carried, and ranks first in Asia by passengers carried and revenue. In addition to its main hubs of Guangzhou and Beijing, it operates numerous secondary hubs throughout southern China. It was the first Chinese airline to join a global airline alliance, being welcomed to SkyTeam in 2007.

Since its establishment in 1988, China Southern has grown significantly, now operating more than 2,000 flights to 193 destinations in 35 countries.

The screening process is improving and the medical exams are becoming much more approachable. They are offering 4 year renewable contracts.

Due to the growth of the company and new aircraft delivery, they are recruiting for Non-Rated Captains or Rated Captains on their B777, B787 and A330 fleets. There are opportunities to be based in other cities around the world outside China including Melbourne, Brisbane, Sydney, Paris, Amsterdam, Frankfurt, Los Angeles, Auckland, Vancouver and London.

B777 & B787 Minimum Requirements:

• Total Time: 5000+ hours (excl SIM time)
• Total PIC time: 2000+ hours on Jets over 50 tons (MTOW)
• Boeing PIC time: 500+ hours on B777/787/744; OR
• Boeing PIC time: 1000+ hours on B737NG
• Last Flight: Last flight as PIC on relevant type within 180 days
• Age: If B777/787 type rated – under 56 years at date of initial screening
• Age: If B747 type rated – under 55 years at date of initial screening
• Age: If B737 type rated – under 51 years at date of initial screening

A330 Minimum Requirements:

• Total Time: 5000 + Hours (excluding SIM time)
• Jet PIC Time: 2000+ hours on Jets over 50 tons (MTOW)
• PIC time on type: 500+ hours on A330/A340; OR
• PIC time on type: 1000+ hours on A320 Fam
• Last Flight: Last flight as PIC on relevant type within 180 days
• Age: if A330/340 type rated – under 56 years at date of initial screening
• Age: if A320 type rated, under 53 years at date of initial screening
