Pacific Coastal Airlines is seeking First Officers to join our operations team in CALGARY, VANCOUVER and other locations.  We are excited to welcome safety-oriented and customer service minded pilots to continue their career with our growing company for ground schools commencing in June 2019 and beyond.

Pacific Coastal Airlines is headquartered at the South Terminal building at Vancouver International Airport. Under the Pacific Coastal banner we fly scheduled and charter service between busy international airports, remote destinations, and beautiful communities in the province of British Columbia. Our new operations in Southern Alberta create an exciting opportunity for candidates desiring to be based in the region to join the Pacific Coastal team.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • 750 hours total time
  • CPL with IATRA or ATPL (IATRA must be completed within last 18 months)
  • Current Multi Engine IFR
  • Valid Category 1 Medical Certificate
  • Ability to travel away from home, including overnights
  • Flexibility to work varying shifts
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a Restricted Area Identity Card
  • Must be Canadian citizen or Canadian permanent resident
  • Ability to travel to/from the United States without restrictions
  • Ability to lift 50 pounds unassisted

Please note: As pilot applications far exceed job vacancies, preference will be given to candidates with qualifications beyond the minimum requirements, including but not limited to:

  • Graduate of a recognized degree program
  • Aviation College degree or diploma
  • Flight experience in addition to the minimum
  • Commercial or military flight experience
  • Jet and/or turbo-prop multi-crew experience
