Skyborne Airline Academy’s Sponsored Flight Instructor Programme will foster the next generation of teaching talent.

We are looking for highly skilled, passionate individuals who wish to train and work as Single Engine Flight Instructors at our fair-weather base at at Castellón Airport, on Spain’s Mediterranean coast.

We know that flight instructors are the backbone of the aviation industry, and our six-week sponsored programme gives newly qualified pilots the opportunity to build their flying hours and develop their teaching skills. Upon successful completion of the programme, the newly qualified flight instructors will start full-time roles with Skyborne Airline Academy.

ENTRY REQUIREMENTS

In order to apply candidates must:

  • Hold a current 1st series CPL/IR, and Class 1 Medical certificate
  • Have received an 80% or higher pass rate during ATPL training
  • Have the right to live and work in Spain

Applicants are invited to complete our online Skyborne selection and assessment form, with selected candidates then asked to interview at our Gloucestershire Airport HQ.

The Skyborne Sponsored Flight Instructor Programme will include 35 flying hours and 130 hours of theory training in the UK. The value of training provided is worth more than £10,000.

Upon conclusion of the programme, participants will commence employment with Skyborne Airline Academy, receiving a competitive salary of £29,000.
