The Ground Instructor is responsible for delivering high quality Theoretical Knowledge instruction to students in compliance with the Airways Aviation Training standards and applicable aviation authority regulations. He/she ensures that each student meets course standards, training requirements and objectives. This position is training students with a strong focus on professional behaviour and attitude besides strong theoretical knowledge training. Therefore ‘teaching by example’ is a very important responsibility for the Ground Instructor.

Selection Criteria

  • Either a Train the Trainer Course, or Core Course, or 5 years or more experience teaching ATPL subjects
  • Ability to work well in a highly structured environment
  • Team oriented
  • Result oriented
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and with minimal supervision
  • Knowledge of MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and MS Outlook
