What about being in the cockpit of our company, where you will experience a rich combination of German and Turkish aviation knowledge, as well as an excellent European airline model? Required qualifications to be employed by SunExpress as a captain or first officer are listed below:

Captains

  •  ATPL (A) license issued in accordance with JAR-FCL or ICAO standards
  •  Class 1 medical certificate issued in accordance with JAR-FCL 3, EASA Part-MED or ICAO standards
  •  Min 4000 flight hours’ total experience
  •  Min 1500 flight hours on aircraft heavier than of 27000 kg MTOW
  •  Min 3 years’ airline pilot experience (starting with type rating endorsement date)
  •  Min 500 hours active PIC experience (on aircraft with more than 19 seat capacity and heavier than 27000 kg MTOW)
  •  Min ICAO Level 4 English proficiency
  •  Valid B737 NG Type Rating is required for ICAO licensed pilots
  •  To be between 1.60 m and 1.95 m height

First Officers

  •  Min age 21 years
  •  Min CPL (A)/IR (A) license and IR on multi-engine aircraft
  •  MCC course
  •  ATPL (A) theoretical knowledge exams passed
  •  JAR FCL 3 class 1 medical
  •  University Degree
  •  ICAO Level 4 in English and being successful in the company English test
  •  To be between 1.60 m and 1.95 m height

Type-Rating Training Fee

For first officers who do not have B737NG type rating, training is arranged through the SunExpress TRTO.
If you wish, you can pay the Type Rating fee from your payroll during your three-year service contract with your monthly wage.
