Commercial low hour pilot requirement for supporting Spitfire Operation

A requirement exists for a Commercial Pilot to fly a Gipps GA8T Airvan, on local, day VFR flights, from Biggin Hill in Kent.  The aircraft operates in support of a two seat Spitfire operation, permitting friends and family to fly alongside the Spitfire.

The position is initially for the period Feb/Mar 2019 to Nov 2019 but with the possibility of an extension to a full time position. The nature of the operation requires flexible hours including most weekends.  The selected candidate will be retained on a self-employed basis and required to live within a short distance of Biggin Hill.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

EASA CPL (No IR Required) with an absolute minimum of 300 Hours piston and a valid SEP rating.

The successful candidate will be self-disciplined and enthusiastic about general aviation, as well as being resourceful, personable and energetic.  In addition to the flying some basic administration will be required as well as assisting with the Spitfire operation.
