airBaltic is a regional airline taking the best practices both from traditional network airlines and ultra-low cost carriers. We offer passengers economy as well as full business class service. Our main priorities are safety, punctuality and service.

airBaltic is a joint stock company that was established in 1995. Its primary shareholder is the Latvian state, which holds 80.05% of the stock, while Lars Thuesen holds around 20% through his fully-owned Aircraft Leasing 1 SIA.

airBaltic serves over 60 destinations from its home base in Riga, Latvia. From every one of these locations, airBaltic offers convenient connections via Riga to its network spanning Europe, Scandinavia, the CIS and the Middle East. In addition, airBaltic also offers direct flights from Tallinn and Vilnius.

airBaltic has established close co-operation with airlines that enhance airBaltic’s well-balanced network of West-bound and East-bound destinations. The flights are operated in codeshare with in approximately 20 partners to supplement the network and provide even larger variety of destinations for travellers from Riga. airBaltic’s business model is based on both point-to-point service and transfer traffic. airBaltic also provides air cargo transportation services.

airBaltic was the first airline in the world to introduce the brand new Bombardier CS300 aircraft. As of right now the airBaltic fleet consists of in total 31 aircraft – Bombardier CS300, Boeing 737-500, Boeing 737-300 and Bombardier Q400 NextGen.
