IndiGo currently operates international flights to 8 destinations – Bangkok, Dubai, Kathmandu, Muscat, Singapore, Doha, Sharjah and Colombo. The first international flight commenced on September 01, 2011. As the fastest growing airline in India, IndiGo has flown over 200 million passengers till date.

The primary responsibility of this department is to ensure safe, legal and efficient operation of IndiGo aircraft. This includes training of cockpit crew to ensure that they meet all licensing and regulatory requirements and can execute high-quality operation in a safe, efficient and customer-friendly manner. Specially trained operational staff, within the department, play a key role in the recruitment of new flight deck crew. The support staff is involved in effective surveying of all new routes and making available all navigation, performance and other necessary operational data to flight crew, to ensure safe air and ground operations. Investigating, monitoring and disseminating information on all accidents, incidents and other occurrences involving IndiGo aircraft also come within the scope of this function. Minimum Requirements Type Rated applicants:
Trainee Officer
- Criteria
Maximum Age: 37yrs, 40 yrs (for pilots > 1000 hrs flying time; Indian National with Indian DGCA issued CPL with ATR 72 endorsement. - Course required to be completed
CPL - Hours required – Nil
First Officer
- Criteria
Maximum Age: 55yrs; Pilots must have current DGCA ATPL, FRTO, RTR, Class 1 Medical, valid ratings. - Course required to be completed
CPL - Hours required

Senior First Officer
- Criteria
Maximum Age: 55yrs; Pilots must have current DGCA ATPL, FRTO, RTR, Class 1 Medical, valid ratings and an accident / incident-free record at the time of application. - Course required to be completed

Transition Captain
- Criteria
Maximum Age: 58yrs; Pilots must have current DGCA ATPL, FRTO, RTR, Class 1 Medical, valid ratings and an accident / incident-free record at the time of application. - Course required to be completed

Pilot -in – Command (Type Rated) on ATR family; Max Age: 63yrs; Pilots must have current DGCA ATPL, FRTO, RTR, Class 1 Medical, valid ratings and an accident / incident-free record at the time of application. Applicants for the role of ATR 72-600 Trainer should hold DGCA approved trainer status - Course required to be completed
