Jetstar Japan are recruiting Direct Entry Captains on fixed term contracts with commuting options for their Airbus fleet.

Minimum Requirements:

•          Hold a current ICAO ATPL (A320 family Type Rated preferred);

•          Current Class 1 medical certificate;

•          Aeronautical Medical Certificates Evaluation Committee Report (if required)

•          ICAO Level 5 English language proficiency;

•          Possess strong and effective team working competencies;

•          Be committed to service excellence;

•          Flight Experience:

•          Flight Time: Minimum 4,000 hrs total time including 3,000 hrs on Jet

•          PIC: Minimum 1,000 hrs jet.

•          Minimum 500 hours on Airbus FBW aircraft

BENEFITS:

• Productivity pay after 60 hours per month

• Commuting allowance

• Housing allowance

• Layover allowance

• Annual leave: 20 days per year

• Sick leave: 24 days per year

• Staff travel (after 6 months of service)

 

During training: 100% of base salary

Roster: Minimum 10 days off per month.

Commuting rosters: Current policy of 10 consecutive days off per month

Taxes: Tax in Japan is based on income level and factors including defendant family members. Ranges from 5% to 40%.
