Wizz Air Pilot Jobs are currently available for Captains, experienced First Officers and licensed Cadets across the airline’s Airbus A320-family operation.

Wizz Air Pilot Jobs – current entry routes

Direct Entry Captains

Wizz Air currently accepts applications from both A320 type-rated and non-type-rated Direct Entry Captains.

Headline requirements include a minimum of 3,500 factorised hours. Type-rated applicants must meet Wizz Air’s A320 experience and PIC requirements, while non-type-rated applicants require qualifying multi-pilot jet command experience.

Experienced First Officers

Experienced First Officer routes are available for both A320 type-rated and non-type-rated pilots.

Type-rated applicants require a minimum of 500 hours on the Airbus A320 family. Non-type-rated experienced First Officers require qualifying multi-pilot turbine experience together with the relevant licence, instrument rating and training requirements.

Licensed Cadets

Wizz Air also accepts licensed Cadet First Officer applicants.

Cadet-level applicants generally require either a minimum of 140 hours of actual fixed-wing flight time following integrated training or 200 hours following modular training, together with completed ATPL theory and the relevant ratings. Additional UPRT requirements apply to non-type-rated cadets, subject to Wizz Air’s stated exemptions.

Licence and eligibility

Licence, Class 1 medical, English-language and work-right requirements depend on the employing Wizz Air operating company. Wizz Air UK requires the relevant UK CAA licence and UK work rights, while other Wizz Air AOCs generally require the applicable EASA licence and work rights.
