The opportunity

Jet2.com is accepting non-type-rated pilot applications for its 2027 talent pool, covering permanent A320/B737 opportunities across UK bases. Joining dates are not guaranteed by entry into a talent pool.

Experience requirements

  • Captain: 3,000 hours, including 1,000 PIC on medium-heavy commercial multi-crew, multi-engine jets.
  • Senior First Officer: 2,000 factorised hours, including 500 on multi-crew, multi-engine jets or turboprops above 10 tonnes; frozen/unfrozen ATPL.
  • First Officer: 500 hours on multi-crew, multi-engine jets or turboprops above 10 tonnes; frozen/unfrozen ATPL.
  • Second Officer: 100 multi-engine, multi-crew hours; frozen ATPL or MPL.

Ask Jet2 how your experience is factorised before assuming that total logbook hours meet the threshold.

Licence and medical requirements

  • Valid UK-issued pilot licence.
  • Current Class 1 medical.
  • English proficiency Level 5 or higher.

Eligible Skilled Worker visa applicants are considered.

Salary and benefits

Salary figures are unpublished. Benefits include:
