UK Cargo Operator CargoLogicAir into profit and takes delivery of 3rd Aircraft

UK freight operator CargoLogicAir, which started operations in 2016, has taken delivery of its third aircraft, a Boeing 747-400ERF.
The cargo operator has acquired the aircraft from Irish lessor AerCap and the airline remains on schedule to operate 5 freighter aircraft within the first 5 years of operating.
CargoLogicAir CEO Dmitry Grisham said ‘The arrival of our third aircraft keeps us on track with our development strategy and will ultimately enable us to look at developing new routes from the UK to markets where we see sustainable demand. Initially, it will give us the capacity to increase the frequency of our ACMI operations and also ensure we have a higher level of availability to perform charter service’.
He added that their first year had been profitable, boosted by a strong peak season and that the carrier has continued to perform well in the first quarter of 2017. The airline’s fleet now comprises of 2 Boeing 747-400s and a 747-8.
